Capstone Design  is a course or subject in higher education which functions as the culmination point of the learning process in the scope of PS and has a culminating experience and is usually integrative of the educational program. This is a major design project using engineering standards and realistic limits based on the knowledge and skills obtained in previous lectures.

As a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering graduate, you are expected to be able to apply the engineering design process which aims to improve students’ professional skills in the engineering field. These engineering design skills are applied in solving real-life technical problems and/or social problems, as well as researching problems, developing solutions to solve problems, communication skills, and teamwork. Every PSTE graduate must have undergone the engineering design process properly and correctly

Implementation of Capstone Design within the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program at Brawijaya University (PSTE). At PSTE the Design Project 1 (TKE60230) and Design Project 2 (TKE60231) courses as well as the Thesis/Final Project course (UBU60001) are Capstone Design courses. This course is taken in 2 semesters.
